Sunday

I am not sorry to say I still get choked up over music. There is always a new, wonderful thing that surprises me, or an old familiar piece that reminds me of something that happened once.

Or else it is just so purely amazingly good that it squeezes the tears right out of your eyes.

I often feel the same way, especially since I am ashamed to admit that I have only recently listened to Renee F goodies.....
Until now, I was simply fascinated with AG, and we corresponded nearly three years....but....I said the wrong thing backstage after one of her recitals...and
that was the end of that....
You know Sopranos.....ONE wrong word by others and..... arrividerci....no?

I get more choked up now than I did years ago - that's ageing for you. Music related to memories certainly, but also those little rhythmic and melodic snippets which just get in there every time (thank God!)

And to Berlioz: that's always the danger of knowing artists - I know so many, but when I'm watching on stage them I rather wish I didn't. Too much info!
